Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Children's Nurse to join the outpatient and clinic team. The post focuses on direct care for children and their families, within a nurse-led clinic that operates as part of a wide MDT.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to children and families in outpatient and clinic settings.
• Advocate for children and families with child-focused, family-centred care.
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and other professionals involved in the child's care.
• Act as a role model in patient care, supporting and teaching staff and contributing to service development.
• Support HCAs on shift within a nurse-led clinic that operates as part of a wide MDT.
• Care activities such as blood tests, renal reviews, prolonged jaundice screening, endocrine testing and injections as part of the service.
