Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Children\'s Community Nurse to deliver specialist community paediatric nursing for children and families in the CYPCNS. You will provide current knowledge and leadership in community settings, liaising with health professionals and third sector partners to ensure high-quality care.

The post involves safeguarding, mentorship of students, and working with children with diverse health needs within the Trust and local health economy.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse registered with NMC.
• Experience in paediatric/child health nursing preferred.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality community nursing to children and young people.
• Collaborate with Team Lead and senior nurses to develop CYPCNS services.
• Promote safeguarding and health education for children and families.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and records.
• Mentor students and junior staff as directed.
