Heat Geek is hiring a Marketing Associate to power front-line engagement and growth. You will operate in a small Growth team, shaping how we reach more people and advance our climate tech mission.

The role blends community management, content creation, and CRM campaigns in a 3-day office hybrid setup at Sustainable Ventures in Waterloo. You’ll collaborate with video, marketing, and product teams to drive measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in social media or community marketing.
• Excellent writing skills for Reddit responses and emails.
• Digital native with platform-specific content knowledge.
• Highly organised with a structured posting schedule.
• Proactive and curious; seeks relevant conversations.

Responsibilities

• Channel Ownership: Manage core community channels to drive daily engagement and a positive experience.
• Proactive Moderation: Respond to comments and queries; signpost resources while following guidelines.
• Ambassador Relations: Build relationships with moderators and brand ambassadors.
• Social Scheduling: Create and schedule content across social platforms with the video team.
• Digital Content: Update website, produce case studies, and market materials.
• CRM & Email: Support email campaigns, newsletters, and customer communications.
• Strategic Support: Help develop multi-channel campaigns for growth goals.
