Job summary

Loughborough University’s School of Social Sciences and Humanities is seeking a Finance Administrator to support the Climate Compatible Growth grant. The role involves procurement and full financial management, with experience in higher education finance and grant reporting.

The successful candidate will work hybrid, with some office presence each week and potential for internal secondment discussions. Applicants should have strong communication skills and proficiency with Unit4 or similar

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial role within higher education or similar.
• Preparation of grant claims and finance reporting.
• Proficiency in using financial management software (Unit4 or similar).
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft applications.
• Excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide finance support for the Climate Compatible Growth grant, including procurement and financial management.
• Support administrative activities within the programme and contribute to financial reporting.
• Work part of the week in the office; discuss arrangements at interview.
