Job summary

Nephila Capital Ltd. is seeking a Climate Associate to join the Climate Team in London. You will help shape new risk transfer solutions for renewables and storage markets, while supporting portfolio reporting and investor communications.

The role requires a finance-focused degree and 2+ years in financial services, with strong data analytics skills (Excel, SQL). Expect a fast-paced environment with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Economics or Business.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services.
• Experience in Energy markets, Project Finance, investment banking, investor relations, or product management is a plus.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, etc.).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Climate Associate, you will work as part of the Nephila Climate Team, which focuses on creating solutions where the Energy Transition is driving innovation that is outpacing traditional channels of financing and risk transfer. This role will assist in creating new products, content and strategies for the Climate team and presenting it to risk counterparties and investors in a thoughtful way.

In this role, you will:

• Help develop and structure new risk transfer solutions for renewable and storage markets
• Analyze and improve our key team processes, such as portfolio reporting
• Help create and deliver the story to investors, including content for meetings, regular reporting, and thought leadership
• Collaborate across the team and business to improve the product and processes

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM (Qualifications):

• You have Bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus in Finance, Economics, Business
• You have 2+ years relevant work experience in Financial Services
  • Energy market, Project Finance, investment banking, Investor Relations, or Product Management experience is a plus
• You are comfortable working with advanced data analytics tools (Microsoft excel, SQL, etc)

• Total cash compensation between 100,000-115,000 GBP
