Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Manager, Client Teams in Manchester, United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering day-to-day client leadership, strong billing accuracy, and strategy development in collaboration with AD/BD to improve client outcomes.

You will lead a junior team, drive performance across on and offline channels, and foster exceptional client relationships while upholding WPP Media’s core values and hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client services, media planning or investment role.
• Ability to analyse client sales and consumer data and understand dynamics of the client’s marketing environment.
• Strong communication with team members and directors.
• Willingness to learn proprietary and industry tools and processes.
• Deep understanding of media channels and the media planning process.
• Understanding of media effectiveness and how to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the day to day running of client business, using high levels of initiative to execute strategies and ensure accuracy and punctuality of billing and other administrative tasks.
• Distill client briefs and work with the AD and BD to develop effective strategies.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication and organisation skills with a thorough media knowledge across on and offline channels.
• Oversee and contribute to the development of the junior team and manage day-to-day activities.
• Drive client performance and act as a true extension of their team.
