Talent Motion are recruiting an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer in Manchester to take a client-side role within Building Consultancy. You will design across RIBA stages 1-7, covering feasibility to detailed design across private and public sectors, with a focus on decarbonisation and energy performance.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of projects, with opportunities to influence client thinking and drive decarbonisation strategies, while enjoying a balanced work-life environment

Qualifications

Mechanical design of building services across multiple stages.
Feasibility and scheme design report preparation.
Decarbonisation design and delivery planning.

Responsibilities

Mechanical building services detail design
Feasibility and scheme design reports
Decarbonisation Design/Delivery
Performance specifications
Performance monitoring
Fit out and refurbishment strategy and design
Undertake property surveys (with guidance from the team)
Produce due diligence reports (acquisition/dilapidations/development)
Energy audits and management
Energy, maintenance & development strategies
Life cycle costings
Provide expert advice in the field of building services
