Talent Motion specialises in transitioning experienced M&E Design Engineers into client-side Building Consultancy. The Associate Mechanical Design Engineer will design across all RIBA stages 1–7, spanning feasibility studies to detailed design, across sectors in private and public fields.

You will work within a 20-strong M&E team, contributing to decarbonisation initiatives and project delivery. The role offers a client-side perspective with direct access to clients and their drivers,

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical building services design.
• Familiarity with feasibility and scheme design processes.
• Understanding of decarbonisation design/delivery within buildings.

• Mechanical building services detail design.
• Feasibility and scheme design reports.
• Decarbonisation design/delivery and energy performance considerations.
• Performance specifications and monitoring.
• Life cycle costings and value engineering.
