Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is recruiting for a Commercial / PMO (Client Side) lead in the South of England. You will steer the commercial team, manage time, cost and quality, and ensure compliance with client processes across major capital programmes.

The role requires extensive NEC experience, change control expertise, and senior stakeholder management to deliver value and manage risks for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-value civil engineering, building, rail or infrastructure projects.
• Management and reporting of client expectations and deliverables.
• Minimum 7 years NEC experience and change control expertise.
• Post-contract commercial services including reporting, payments, variations, claims and final accounts.
• BA Hons / BSc in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Chartered membership to an accredited body (CICES / RICS / CIArb or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Client-side commercial team to manage time, cost and quality through to closeout.
• Provide proactive commercial leadership and timely reporting to the Client.
• Minimise client risk and maximise client value.
• Ensure compliance with client processes and Line of Defence protocols.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Oversee EVM alignment and change control processes.
• Prepare and manage client commercial correspondence and notices.
• Identify emerging risks and support dispute resolution with client requirements.
