Job summary

Pro-Finance in Manchester is seeking a Client Manager to lead client relationships and a portfolio of OMBs/SMEs. You will oversee statutory accounts, mentor junior staff, and work with Directors to deliver a seamless client experience.

The role requires ACA/ACCA and prior practice experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and driving business development and growth.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Experience as Assistant Manager or Manager in practice.
• Experience managing a portfolio of owner-managed client entities.
• Strong accounting knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, primary contact for them.
• Develop long-term client relationships through excellent service.
• Review statutory accounts and related assignments with the team.
• Manage workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Directors to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services and support BD.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team.
• Support firm growth through client retention and relationships.
