Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a client services professional to support Client Relationship Executives in managing Life and Disability portfolios, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong client and broker relationships.

You will work with the Corporate Services team across jurisdictions, develop product and market knowledge, handle quotes and renewals, prepare documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement with robust communication and time

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a client service role, preferably within financial services
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage a small portfolio of Life and Disability clients
• Build effective relationships with clients and brokers
• Assist Client Relationship Executives by addressing simple client queries
• Develop key product and market knowledge through self-service learning and dedicated training
• Liaise with other teams to ensure client needs are met
• Draft client-specific documentation for review by Client Relationship Executives
• Vet renewal data, identify missing information, and request it from clients/brokers
• Deliver high-quality customer communications
• Prepare Welcome Packs for new clients
• Actively manage new business requests
• Vet and log quotes received within agreed timelines
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures when vetting, logging, and issuing quotes
• Follow up on quotes as directed by the Sales team
• Work effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partners
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly management information reports
• Ensure renewal invitations and rate review quotes are issued on time
• Monitor and report on rate acceptance, issuing follow-ups as needed
• Maintain accurate information to enable timely renewals
• Respond to client queries clearly and professionally within two business days
• Contribute to achieving a minimum client retention rate of 85%
• Upskill on key IT systems and processes relevant to the role
• Carry out timely administration and reporting, including change requests
• Assist with client due diligence and risk assessment requirements
• Participate in projects to enhance operational efficiency
