Job summary

Baillie Gifford is seeking a Client Associate for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support North America and UK client-facing teams. You will develop high-quality client and marketing presentations and help prioritise work around client needs.

The role requires strong communication, keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines, while embracing new digital tools and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and delivering detailed work with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience building effective working relationships across teams.
• Proficiency with Office 365 tools and openness to new digital tools and tech.

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver presentations to a high standard with input from Investment Specialists and content owners.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements, including checking financial promotions where applicable.
• Understand NA & UK clients, priorities and ways of working, anticipating needs.
• Develop role-appropriate AI literacy and use approved AI tools to redesign workflows, reduce manual activity and create capacity for higher-value work.
• Communicate priorities, deadlines, risks and dependencies, coordinating with the right people to achieve client outcomes.
• Support onboarding, knowledge sharing and team resilience; take ownership of personal development and adapt to change.
• Build broad business knowledge as needs evolve.
