Job summary

Openwork Partnership is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager for Omnis Investments. You will be the face and voice of Omnis for Openwork and 2plan advisers, helping to raise awareness of Omnis investment strategies and to drive adoption of Omnis products.

This field-based role involves regular travel and close collaboration with the Openwork Partnership, Investor Solutions and Marketing teams to tailor communications for advisers and customers.

Qualifications

• Significant wealth management experience with knowledge of retail wealth products (ISAs, bonds, pensions)
• Experience of Financial Markets and economic theories
• Experience of developing and executing sales plans
• Understanding of the UK investment and savings environment and regulatory landscape

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert on Omnis solutions and investment approach.
• Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with Openwork & 2plan advisers to position the Omnis proposition and influence flows into Omnis solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the Investor Solutions team and Marketing and distribution teams to ensure Omnis market, fund and promotional materials meet Advisers’ and Customers’ needs.
• Represent Omnis at regional member meetings, peer group meetings, Member Engagement Group Meetings and large Adviser meetings.
• Support Openwork & 2plan Advisers with their High-Net-Worth Client meetings - providing macroeconomic and market views but not involved in advice activities.
• Co-ordinate Omnis webinars, national and regional conferences/meeting.
• Work with the Openwork PDM & WDM and 2plan BRM teams and Proposition team to ensure Advisers have the necessary skills, support, training and material to promote and advise on the Omnis investment solutions.
• Respond to Adviser and Customer related complaints and queries.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement with both internal and external teams.

Job description

As the Client Portfolio Manager for Omnis Investments, you will be the “face and voice” of Omnis for Openwork and 2plan advisers. The key purposes of the role are to increase awareness and understanding of Omnis’ investment strategies and principles. As well as increase adoption of Omnis products and services.

You will work collaboratively with the Openwork Partnership team and 2plan Business Relationship Management team. Working with our Director of Investment and Client Solutions, the 2plan central teams and marketing to continually tailor Omnis’ communication capability and approach to ensure that it remains contemporary and effective across the Openwork & 2plan audiences.

This is a field-based role with regular travel required.

What will you need to succeed?

• Significant wealth management experience; with in-depth knowledge of retail wealth financial services products (e.g. ISAs, investment bonds and pensions).
• Experience of Financial Markets and economic theories.
• Experience of developing and executing sales plans.
• A good understanding of the UK investment and savings environment, the wider UK regulatory environment, investment products and services (notably UCITS funds and DFM services), investment sales process, how independent financial advisers operate advice process, sales reporting (CRM) methods, investment strategies, techniques and instruments.
