Taylor Rose Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a UK accountancy firm to recruit an ACCA/ICAEW qualified professional to advance advisory skills within general practice. The role involves managing a regional client portfolio across SMEs, OMBs, LLPs, handling accounts, tax and business advisory work.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ICAEW qualified (ideally)
• PQ/MAAT also considered
• General Practice background
• Excellent working knowledge of FRS102
• Strong communication skills
• UK Resident

Responsibilities

• Managing a client portfolio and acting as the first point of contact
• Preparation of year end financial statements under FRS102
• Preparation of corporate tax compliance
• Identifying tax planning opportunities
• Client/business advisory work
• Handling client queries
• Attending client meetings
• Training & mentoring junior staff
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Education

ACCA/ICAEW Qualified

PQ/ MAAT considered

Job description

This opportunity would suit an ACCA or ICAEW qualified individual working in general practice looking to continue their professional development and develop their advisory skills.

Will involve managing a varied and interesting regional client portfolio including SMEs, OMBs (and Business Owners) and LLPs from a range of industry sectors involving a mixture of accounts, tax and client/ business advisory work.
