About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, professional services firm based in Gloucester. With a team of 14 professional staff that cover Audit, Accounts, and Taxation services in a friendly and professional way. They are known for providing top-quality services to a diverse range of OMB clients, both locally and nationally.

Job Description

• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Mentor and develop a team of junior accountants, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Work as part of an established team dealing with Accounts/Taxation and some audits.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant should have:

• A degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or be part qualified and therefore qualified by experience.
• Proven working experience in the professional services industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and finance software.
• An analytical mind with strategic ability.
