The role is office-based five days per week during probation, with hybrid working available after successful probation. Experience with Paycircle and Excel is advantageous, and hospitality payroll experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience in a client-facing environment.
• Experience managing your own payroll portfolio.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise deadlines.
• Good Excel skills for data manipulation.
• Paycircle experience; Xero knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience with hospitality payrolls including hourly paid staff and tips.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-50 client payrolls per month.
• Process payroll from start to finish, including data imports, checking inputs and completing calculations.
• Calculate statutory payments and entitlements, including maternity, sickness and holiday pay.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain payroll information.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accuracy throughout the payroll process.
• Manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Use Excel to manipulate spreadsheets, import data and support payroll processing.
