Job summary

Citi Belfast is seeking a detail-oriented Onboarding Analyst to coordinate client data setup, signatories, and documentation across global teams. You will liaise with sales, operations and regulatory partners to ensure accurate, timely onboarding.

The role requires strong English communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to process improvement. This position offers a hybrid work model and a competitive base salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial services preferred.
• Knowledge of bank products in the scope of opening and maintaining bank accounts.
• Customer communication experience (internal/external).
• Knowledge on the field of finances and banking.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process client's requests related to system setup including signatories' updates and documentation lodgment.
• Co-operate with internal partners to perform systems maintenance based on documentation related to account opening and maintenance processes.
• Provide response to client and internal inquiries.
• Prepare documentation for archiving.
• Apply appropriate bank regulations while processing the requests.
• Stay up to date with current procedures, internal rules, external regulations, and changes in documents.
• Document operation procedure updates.
• Process clients' instructions ensuring accuracy and deadlines.

Team/Role Overview

The Client Onboarding group is a client facing organization responsible for the coordination and communication around all underlying activities from sales prospect/new business opportunity through to the first trade. While the client onboarding team are responsible for stewarding the client through the end-to-end onboarding process our success as a firm depends on many teams and the ability to effectively communicate between them. Generally, the onboarding role is a coordination role with client data set up function happening within the respective control groups. The department has a fast-paced environment, and analysts have deadlines to meet daily and deal with stakeholders across the globe

What you'll do

• Process client's requests related to system set up including signatories' updates and documentation lodgment
• Co-operate with internal partners to perform systems maintenance based on documentation related to account opening and maintenance processes
• Provide response to client and internal inquiries.
• Prepare documentation for archiving
• Apply appropriate bank's regulations while processing the requests
• Remain up to date with the current procedures, internal rules, external regulations, and follows the changes in the aforementioned documents
• Document operation procedure updates
• Process clients' instructions ensuring the highest accuracy and effectiveness (ensuring deadlines are adhered to)

What we'll need from you

• Previous experience in financial services preferred
• Knowledge of bank products in the scope of opening and maintaining of bank accounts Customer communication experience (internal/external)

• Good PC skills (Excel, Word)
