A dynamic accounting firm in Greater London is looking for a Client Manager to manage client portfolios and lead a small team. This role requires excellent time management and client-facing skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality advisory services. Candidates should ideally have experience in professional services and be proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks. Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 offered based on experience.

The Role

Working with Start-ups, Scale-ups and SMEs, you will be a confident client facing accountant ensuring the following duties are carried out in a proactive and timely manner:

• Liaising and managing a portfolio of clients
• Training and managing a team of between 3-4 of Junior to Semi-Senior Accountants
• Reviewing Year End Accounts, VAT returns, Payroll Submissions
• Looking at how you can add further client value through Advisory services
• Preparing financial forecasts for clients
• Promoting the firm’s wider Advisory services such as EIS & SEIS, EMI Schemes

Skills and attributes required for the role include:

• Qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines (essential)
• Previous experience working within a practice or professional services organisation (essential)
• Experience working with cloud-base Accounting softwares including Xero & Quickbooks (preferred)
