Job summary

Office Angels is seeking an experienced Client Manager to take ownership of a high-quality client portfolio within a specialist accountancy practice. You will act as the primary contact for clients and deliver accounting and taxation support with autonomy.

You will manage a varied client base including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, ensuring timely delivery of accounts and self‑assessment tax returns while building long‑term relationships.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or qualified by experience at senior level).
• 7+ years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts and taxation knowledge with client portfolio ownership.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, personal tax).
• Preparing statutory accounts for various client types.
• Preparing self‑assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns.
• Advising on accounting and taxation matters and building strong client relationships.
• Working independently while meeting deadlines and liaising with clients and advisers.
• Supporting the continued growth and success of the practice.
