ProTalent Limited is recruiting a Client Accountant in Norwich. You will manage your own client portfolio, acting as primary contact, and drive year-end accounts, CT computations, and tax planning.

The role emphasizes client leadership, relationship management, and ownership of delivery. Ideal candidates have UK practice experience, ACA/ACCA/MAAT qualifications or finalist status, and proficiency in Xero/FreeAgent/QuickBooks.

Qualifikationen

• ACCA, ACA or MAAT qualified, or finalist.
• Solid UK accountancy practice background.
• Confidence with accounts, corporation tax and SA100s.
• Happy leading client meetings and owning the relationship.
• Commercial awareness: time recording, WIP and billing.
• Experience with key accounting software tools (Xero/FreeAgent/QuickBooks).

Aufgaben

• Own a portfolio of clients and be their main contact.
• Prepare and review year-end accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
• Handle corporation tax computations, CT600s and SA returns.
• Maintain client compliance, including MTD for Income Tax.
• Agree annual written tax plans with directors.
• Lead client meetings and provide strategic advice.
• Mentor junior colleagues and review their work.
