Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Crawley for an Accounts Senior / Client Manager. The role offers portfolio ownership, client contact, and progression under Senior/Manager guidance.

Ideal candidates have AAT Level 4 or ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience), with strong accounts, VAT and bookkeeping expertise and a collaborative, client-focused approach. Hybrid working, full study support, and long-term career progression available.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 or equivalent; part-qualified considered.
• Experience in accounts preparation, tax, VAT and bookkeeping.
• Client-focused with strong communication and deadline management.
• Willingness to train and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts for various client types.
• Prepare corporation tax returns and tax computations support.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
• Manage your own portfolio of clients and be the main contact.
• Build long-term client relationships and respond to queries.
• Review junior staff work; provide training and mentoring.
• Assist Managers on complex assignments and cross-team projects.
• Collaborate with other specialist teams within the firm.
