Job summary

Mpeople Recruitment are working with a busy, well-established accountancy practice in Oldham to appoint an experienced Client Manager / Accountant to oversee client portfolios, accounts and compliance work.

You will build strong relationships with business owners and directors, mentor junior team members, and ensure deadlines and high standards of service, supported by a hybrid working arrangement and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients.
• Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax and compliance work.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to business owners.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
• Managing deadlines and ensuring a high standard of client service.
