Job summary

Blusource in Wellingborough is seeking a Client Manager to join our accountancy team. Salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications, with hybrid working and flexible hours.

The role involves managing SME client portfolios, preparing accounts, and supporting audits. You will mentor juniors, identify your specialist area, and contribute to senior management decisions as you progress.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of SME clients, including year-end and ad hoc meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of complex accounts for groups ready for Audit.
• Participate in audits and attend planned client site visits as required.
• Conduct new client meetings and nurture long-term relationships.
• Review year-end accounts prepared by junior staff.
• Provide proactive tax planning and business advice.
• Collaborate with our financial services team to support long-term retirement planning.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Identify and develop your specialism—technical, managerial, business development, or systems.
• Contribute to the senior management team and participate in decision-making as you progress.

Client Manager Responsibilities:
