Job summary

Blusource Professional Services Ltd has a vacancy for a Client Manager at an accountancy firm in Wellingborough. The role offers a negotiable salary based on experience, with hybrid working and flexible hours.

The candidate will manage SME client portfolios, prepare complex accounts for audit, attend client site visits, and foster long-term relationships. There is a development pathway to senior management and opportunities to specialise technical, managerial, or business development areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of SME clients, including year-end and ad hoc meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of complex accounts for groups ready for Audit.
• Participate in audits and attend planned client site visits as and when operationally required.
• Conduct new client meetings and nurture long-term relationships.
• Review year-end accounts prepared by junior staff.
• Provide proactive tax planning and business advice.
• Collaborate with our financial services team to support long-term retirement planning.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Identify and develop your specialism—whether technical, managerial, business development, or systems.
• Contribute to the senior management team and participate in decision-making as you progress.
