Job summary

Michael Page in Trowbridge is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients, guiding accounting and finance processes to ensure precision and financial health.

You will manage client relationships, advise SMEs and sole traders on tax and reporting, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality services. Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Permanent role with a competitive salary of £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience, in Wiltshire.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (ACA or ACCA).
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax within professional services.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Confidence in using accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients as main contact.
• Oversee accounting and finance processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Advise SMEs and sole traders; work on corporate and personal tax.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Assist with tax planning and submissions.
