Job summary

Reed is seeking a Client Manager in Stoke-on-Trent for a hands-on, client-facing role within a well-established accountancy practice. You will own a varied portfolio as the main point of contact, working closely with senior leadership while supporting and developing junior team members.

You will review accounts and tax computations, ensure timely, accurate delivery and build long-term client relationships. Hybrid and flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in client/portfolio management within a Practice environment.
• Strong communication and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as their main day-to-day contact
• Reviewing and overseeing accounts, tax computations and related submissions
• Ensuring work is delivered accurately, on time and to a high standard

Location: Stoke (hybrid working available)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The role

We're working with a well-established Accountancy Practice in Stoke who are looking to add an experienced Client Manager to their growing team.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio, acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor. You'll work closely with senior leadership while also supporting and developing junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
