An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially astute Client Manager to join a growing and ambitious accountancy practice. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary senior contact for a portfolio of high-value clients, developing strong and lasting relationships.
- Drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth.
- Take full ownership of portfolio performance, including billing, pricing strategies, profitability, and commercial outcomes.
- Identify and convert opportunities to expand service offerings and increase fee income.
- Lead and oversee complex client onboarding and transition processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support on more complex accounting and advisory matters.
- Manage, mentor, and develop client service teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee workflow management, resource planning, and service delivery standards.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, risks, and commercial opportunities to senior leadership.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, operational improvements, and wider strategic growth plans.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Significant experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.
- A proven track record of managing and growing a successful client portfolio.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience improving revenue, profitability, and client value.
- Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with senior-level clients.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the credibility to influence business decisions.
