Job summary

OBR Group Limited, based in Sheffield, is seeking an experienced practice accountant to take ownership of a growing client portfolio and contribute to shaping the firm's development.

You will be the primary client contact, review accounts and tax work, oversee year-end VAT and corporate taxes, and support the team in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience reviewing accounts and tax work.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Good organisation and control of deadlines.

Responsibilities

The practice

A growing independent practice in Sheffield on a massive growth journey. Clients range from owner-managed businesses to companies turning over £300m+, across construction, healthcare, education and more. The office is easy to reach from across South Yorkshire, and parking is free.

The role

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Being the main point of contact for your clients
• Reviewing accounts and tax work prepared by the team
• Overseeing year-end, VAT, personal tax, corporation tax and CIS
• Supporting and developing the team

You ll need
