Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualification is preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience.
• Experience with Xero, Sage or IRIS is essential.
• Must be able to commute to Sheffield.

Responsibilities

• Review VAT returns and finalise year-end accounts and business tax computations.
• Manage a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare Self-Assessment tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide tax planning advice, including dividends, CGT and group structures.
• Lead client communications via email, phone, online and in-person meetings.
• Supervise staff, manage workloads and deadlines; monitor billing and WIP.
• Support Directors on client and practice matters and participate in ad hoc duties.

Client Manager

Location: Sheffield

Package: £45,000-£50,000, hybrid working, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, and more

Working Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a reputable medium sized Accountancy Practice in Sheffield, as they seek a Client Manager to join their dedicated team. Offering up to £50k, with hybrid working, and an opportunity to manage a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients

You will be joining a medium sized team to deliver high quality and fast paced Accounts Services to a high profile client base, managing a team of staff, and playing a crucial role contributing to the success of the practice. Client Manager Job Responsibilities

• Review VAT returns and finalise year-end accounts and business tax computations.
• Manage a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, CICs and other structures.
• Prepare simple and complex Self-Assessment tax returns.
• Provide clients with advice on tax planning, dividends, CGT, group structures, overseas matters and residency.
• Handle client queries via email, telephone, online and face-to-face meetings.
• Manage and support staff, including training, workload and deadline management.
• Monitor team billing and work in progress against monthly targets.
• Assist with accounts and tax work during busy periods where required.
• Attend occasional client meetings in London.
• Assist and report to the Directors on client and practice matters.
• Undertake additional ad hoc duties as required.

Client Manager Job Requirements

• Candidates who are ACCA/ACA qualified, are preferable
• Should have a minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience
• Knowledge and experience of working within Xero, Sage, or IRIS
• Must be able to comfortably commute to Sheffield
• Experience in regularly communicating with clients, and handling a portfolio
• Should have excellent organisational, interpersonal, and organisational skills

Client Manager Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
