Job summary

PKF Francis Clark is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage a defined client portfolio and process payrolls with accuracy and efficiency. You will answer queries, onboard new clients, and maintain strong relationships while complying with current payroll legislation.

You'll work in a supportive team with hybrid working options, contributing to timely, high-quality payroll services for clients across sectors.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Experience managing a defined client portfolio effectively.
• Excellent client service skills and high attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• A polite, professional approach with a wide range of clients.
• Good IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Accuracy, numeracy and a methodical, organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Processing a wide variety of client payrolls as part of the wider team.
• Acting as the main point of contact for a defined portfolio of clients.
• Onboarding new client payrolls, ensuring data is accurate and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a professional, responsive service.
• Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and applying changes accurately.
• Responding to client queries efficiently, accurately and within timescales.
• Liaising with HMRC regarding employer payments and payroll queries.
• Ensuring payroll processing is completed accurately and on time
