Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly accountancy practice in Bristol. This permanent, Monday to Friday role offers a varied workload and the chance to build strong relationships with clients.

You will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, maintain ledgers, complete bank reconciliations and VAT returns, and assist with year‑end work in a supportive, client‑facing environment.

Formación

• Experience with bookkeeping in an accountancy practice.
• Good knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping processes.
• Comfortable using accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident liaising with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients.
• Maintain purchase and sales ledgers.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Process financial transactions and maintain records.
• Prepare information for year-end accounts.
• Liaise with clients regarding accounts and queries.
• Support wider practice with accounts administration.
