Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting are seeking a Client Bookkeeper for a respected accountancy practice in Weston-super-Mare. You will manage a diverse client portfolio with daily bookkeeping, VAT reporting, and bank reconciliations, supporting management accounts production and other accounting duties.

The role suits an experienced bookkeeper from an accountancy practice, with AAT qualifications or QBE, and a friendly, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients (sole traders to small incorporated businesses).
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT reports and assist in management accounts production.
• Support ad hoc accounting duties as required.

Working with a diverse client portfolio, from sole trader to small incorporated businesses,key focus of the role to include:

• - Daily bookkeeping for a variety of portfolio clients
• - Assisting with both accounts payable and receivable maintenance
• - Bank reconciliations
• - VAT reporting
• - Assisting in the production of management accounts
• - Other ad hoc accounting duties as required

For this role we seek an experienced Bookkeeper, with previous experience in an accountancy practice setting.

Candidates may be either part/fully AAT qualified or consider themselves to be QBE. The role works as part of a fun, energetic and friendly team where team-work forms an important element of each employees’ duties, so great inter-person skills a must!
