Job summary

ProTalent Limited are recruiting a Client Bookkeeper for a respected accountancy practice in Bexhill. You will manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

The role covers VAT returns, CIS submissions and some payroll tasks, with potential company secretarial duties. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, HMRC and third parties in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or currently studying.
• At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero and other bookkeeping software.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients (sole traders, partnerships, Ltd companies).
• VAT returns and CIS submissions.
• Some payroll tasks and company secretarial duties as required.
• Communicating with clients, HMRC and other third parties.

As a Client Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for managing bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients, including:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• VAT returns and CIS submissions
• Some involvement with payroll tasks
• Company secretarial duties as required
• Communicating with clients, HMRC, and other third parties

The Ideal Candidate:

• AAT qualified or currently studying
• At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks,Xero and other bookkeeping software
• Confident managing client relationships and deadlines
• A team player with excellent communication skills
