Bright Beany in Nottingham is seeking a Client Finance Partner (Management Accountant) to join our growing, independent finance team. You will produce monthly management accounts, manage client relationships and help shape financial reporting for a portfolio of founder-led businesses.

This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working after probation (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with training, progression opportunities, and exposure to senior finance leadership.

Formación

• Essential: AAT Level 4 or equivalent, post-qualification experience, or part-qualified/ qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA.
• Strong practical experience preparing management accounts or statutory accounts.
• Excellent working knowledge of Xero, with reconciliations, journals and reporting.
• Familiarity with Dext and other cloud accounting tools.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Own month-end processes: reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Investigate variances and help clients interpret financial performance.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial information and reporting.
• Assist with budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Directors on complex reporting and advisory projects.
• Manage client relationships and be the main day-to-day finance contact.
