Job summary

iO Associates is looking for an Insight Analyst to join a Bath-based client in the data and analytics sector. You will deliver high-quality analytical insights across commercial and not-for-profit clients, combining core insight work with data science applications.

You will work directly with clients, shape analytical approaches, develop tools, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Strong SQL and Python or R skills, plus the ability to present findings, are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with complex joins and performance tuning.
• 2+ years' experience using Python or R to solve client problems.
• Experience managing analytical relationships for a small client portfolio.
• Ability to interpret analytics and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Structured approach to solving unfamiliar analytical problems with justification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality analytical insight for clients across commercial and not-for-profit sectors.
• Apply data science techniques on projects ranging from audits, campaign analysis and segmentation to propensity modelling and lifetime value forecasting.
• Work directly with clients, shape analytical approaches and turn complex data into clear recommendations.
• Develop tools and solutions to improve client outcomes and team processes.
