Job summary

Ashfords is seeking an Employment & HR Advisor to join the Employment & HR team in Bristol on a permanent basis. The role involves acting as the first point of contact on our HR helpline, giving practical support across employee relations and advising managers and leaders.

You’ll work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, commercially focused HR guidance, handling calls, solving complex people challenges, and supporting flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR administration or similar HR-focused role.
• Holding or working towards CIPD qualification is expected.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle high volume of calls and enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact on the HR helpline and provide practical, commercially focused advice to managers and business leaders.
• Handle incoming calls, quickly understand issues, and deliver clear guidance across employee relations matters.
• Build trusted client relationships and work with colleagues to deliver a high-quality HR advisory service.
