Job summary

Avanade in the United Kingdom is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with clients, uncover AI opportunities, and rapidly transform ideas into working, production-minded solutions using Microsoft technologies. You will drive discovery, design backlogs, and steer governance for responsible AI adoption.

You will lead client engagements at the intersection of AI strategy, solution architecture and engineering, building prototypes and ensuring scalable delivery within enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to understand organisation, processes and priorities within AI initiatives.
• Lead discovery, ideation and design workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities where AI, agents and automation add business value and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
• Architect, build and demonstrate AI prototypes and production-minded solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Educate client teams and facilitate governance for responsible AI adoption.
