Job summary

Avanade Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Agentic AI Engineer to drive design, development, and deployment of production-grade generative AI and agentic solutions using Microsoft technologies in the UK.

The role requires hands-on experience building AI capabilities, orchestrating agentic workflows, evaluating AI systems, and delivering secure, scalable production environments using Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Copilot Studio.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI solutions in enterprise settings.
• Experience orchestrating agentic workflows and GenAI solutions.
• Ability to implement evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
• Experience taking production AI into secure, scalable environments on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical solution design and architecture decisions.
• Act as the technical lead on projects, guiding implementation strategy and standards.
• Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI and GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Lead end-to-end solution delivery from discovery to handover.
• Make clear technical design decisions to support scalability and security.
• Mentor junior team members and grow technical capability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
• Manage technical stakeholders and client conversations to translate needs into designs.
• Support or lead pre-sales activities including demonstrations and proposals.
• Lead implementation during delivery to meet architecture and quality standards.
