Job summary

Referment is working with a London-based company whose AI platform helps major construction projects forecast outcomes and reduce risk. As a Project Controls Engineer you’ll work with senior client engineers to derive value from the product, with monthly London visits and exposure to international clients.

The role is suitable for early‑career planners or PMO professionals seeking client‑facing technology experience, with mentorship and hands-on analytics exposure.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in a planning, risk, PMO or project management role on construction projects.
• Solid understanding of construction schedules (P6) and how they're built/read.
• Solid understanding of probabilistic schedule risk analysis and foundational statistics.
• Interest in projects that meaningfully improve outcomes.
• Passion for applying technology to improve construction industry.
• Relationship-building instinct and focus on delighting customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the wider deployment team in coaching clients on how to maximise the value from the product.
• Build relationships within client organisations and understand their needs and pain points.
• Help configure the product so it brings value to clients.
• Help clients understand and adopt advanced analysis features, including custom LLM-based analysis.
• Work with the commercial team to support engagement, retention and expansion.
• Work with product managers and AI engineers, contributing to prototyping and to the LLM evaluation cycle.
