Job summary

Search Chain Partners seeks a senior Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy our AI-for-finance platform at banks and PE firms, building production-grade workflows and data pipelines in Python and TypeScript.

You will own technical outcomes at flagship accounts, collaborating with deal teams, CTOs and heads of innovation, while addressing security and compliance requirements in regulated environments. This role blends engineering excellence with client-facing leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' software engineering experience at a tier 1 technology company, AI lab or high-performance finance firm.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar from a leading university.
• Strong full-stack skills in Python and TypeScript, with cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs: RAG, agents, tool use and evaluation.
• Confident in front of senior clients; able to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• High ownership and speed: you ship and take responsibility for client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and build production-grade agentic workflows and data pipelines for client deployments.
• Lead technical deployments at bank and PE clients from scoping to go-live.
• Connect the platform to client systems, data rooms, CRMs and market data providers.
• Write clean, well-tested code in Python and TypeScript; ensure security and compliance.
