Job summary

Vermillion Analytics LTD is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in London for an on-site role with substantial travel. You will own customers end-to-end, design integrations, and work directly with engineering teams to deploy and scale AI-driven tooling.

You will lead technical engagements with VPs of Engineering and Staff+ engineers, debug complex deployments, and help shape the product roadmap. Strong coding background and real customer-facing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in a demanding engineering role.
• Hands-on production code experience.
• Strong algorithmic and problem-solving ability.
• Experience navigating large, unfamiliar codebases.
• Customer-facing technical work: integrations, deployments, pilots.
• CS background from a leading university or equivalent depth shown.
• Standout achievement (hackathon/open source) optional.

Responsibilities

• Own customers end-to-end, understand architectures, design implementations, and pair with their engineers to deliver.
• Lead the technical relationship with engineering leadership through scoping, integration, and rollout.
• Ship into the core product by debugging and building features for deployments.
• Influence the roadmap by bringing field learnings and shipping where it makes sense.
• Build the playbook with processes, tooling, and best practices for faster deployments.
