Job summary

Watches of Switzerland Group is seeking seasonal Hosts in Leeds to greet customers and support the Sales Team during the busy peak trading period.

You will welcome customers, help with wrapping and boxing purchases, manage waiting times, assist with click-and-collect orders, and keep the store tidy and welcoming.

Previous retail or hospitality experience is valued and you will join a dynamic team in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, promotions, retail or catering is welcome.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and positive demeanor.
• Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced store environment.
• Ability to identify customer needs and manage wait times.
• Assist Sales Team with wrapping, boxing and processing sales.
• Support click-and-collect orders and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome and first impression to store visitors.
• Assist with meetings and greeting, and help customers browsing.
• Serve refreshments when appropriate and maintain a tidy store.
• Support the Sales Team to streamline sales processes, including wrapping and boxing.

Do you have previous customer facing experience in either hospitality, promotions, retail, or catering?

Are you a naturally enthusiastic and positive person with great people skills?

Are you comfortable operating in a busy and fast-paced customer-facing environment?

Do you have a keen eye for detail?

Christmas is a very busy time in the retail world. Whilst our watch and jewellery specialists are busy sharing their knowledge and expertise, we are looking for Hosts to provide a friendly and welcoming first impression to customers as they enter the store. Whether it's meeting and greeting customers, booking of appointments, wrapping, and boxing purchases or assisting with customer collections you will be providing assistance to the in-store Sales Team as and when required and ensure that the store is orderly and clean during this peak trading period.

About You

• Meeting and greeting customers in a positive and friendly way
• Making customers feel welcome on entering and browsing the store
• Offering and serving refreshments
• Establishing customer needs and managing any potential waiting times
• Assisting the Sales Team in order to streamline the sales processes - for example, wrapping or boxing purchases or processing the sale
• Assisting or completing the process of customer collection orders (click and collect purchases)
• Assisting in the maintaining of excellent in-store standards
