Job summary

Barclays Bank PLC's ISS team is seeking a Client Service Manager to own the client experience across high-profile London locations, including Mayfair. You will blend hospitality, events, relationship management and commercial awareness to deliver exceptional service in a premium corporate setting.

The role requires at least 4 years in hospitality or events, strong senior-level relationship experience, and outstanding communication.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience within a fast-paced hospitality, events, catering or sales environment.
• Strong knowledge of meetings, conferences, events and premium hospitality.
• Experience building relationships with senior-level clients and decision makers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, outgoing personality with a natural flair for networking.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the drive to achieve targets and deliver results.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent personal presentation and professional written and verbal communication.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems.
• A genuine passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage clients with warmth and professionalism, creating memorable experiences from arrival to departure.
• Manage meetings, events and special functions from initial enquiry through to delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop detailed knowledge of client preferences to provide a personalised service.
• Promote meeting and events facilities and identify opportunities to grow the client portfolio.
• Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
• Be highly visible throughout service and proactively resolve challenges.
• Capture customer feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the experience.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, health & safety and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with the wider ISS team and support other London locations when required.
• Contribute to sales growth, cost-saving initiatives and financial targets.
