Offering Circa. £55,000 - £65,000 Basic Salary plus Great Benefits!
Our client is an established and well-respected manufacturing company based in Yorkshire, providing engineering solutions to clients throughout the UK and Worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Client Engineer to work closely with our clients' customers, helping identify known and unknown system problems and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
The Client Engineer will work closely with customers to understand how their current products and solutions are being used, and whether they are maximizing the product features. Working with a cross-functional team to develop bespoke solutions, the successful candidate will discover solutions that are valuable, usable, and feasible. Additionally, they will work with customers to identify new applications of our clients' products to resolve other customer issues.
Client Engineer Key Responsibilities
Project and Solution Delivery Management
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, production, and supply chain to ensure solutions are delivered complete, on time, and to expectations.
Develop and implement processes and best practices for efficient project execution.
Be hands-on in designing and supporting bespoke products.
Work collaboratively with teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and align with company vision.
Understanding Customer Needs
Keep customers updated throughout product and solution lifecycles.
Work closely with customers to identify new solutions and applications.
Communication and Reporting
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and partners.
Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
Candidate Requirements
STEM-related Degree preferred.
Excellent communication skills, confident engaging with clients at all levels, and building rapport.
Ability to probe and understand customer pain points to identify solutions.
Experience or understanding of Automotive, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Medical, Mechanical, or Electrical industries is highly beneficial.
CAD experience, ideally with SolidWorks, designing mechanical or electrical solutions.
Ability to understand commercial and engineering drivers and constraints.
Strong Microsoft skills for creating technical documentation.
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of circa £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits. It requires 25% travel across the UK and offers flexible hybrid working (2-3 days at the Yorkshire office).
