Job description

Client Director - Healthcare Sales

The role is responsible for working alongside the Healthcare team in managing and developing accounts within the public sector. It requires high levels of account management, campaign, and business development, with a focus on selling a broad range of IT solutions and services. The role demands good organisational and prioritisation skills, aligned with effective sales techniques to fully access and capitalise on IT spend within the target customer base.

This position carries full performance and target responsibility for the individual, with an attractive OTE package. It is a remote role, with travel throughout the UK, including regular visits to Trustmarque offices and hubs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in new business sales, with a proven track record of acquiring new logos and a strong background in Trustmarque propositions.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  2. Identifying, qualifying, developing, and maximising sales opportunities.
  3. Growing revenue through higher margin cloud and services solutions, including longer-term managed service annuities.
  4. Managing bid processes and coordinating support for RFI/P submissions.
  5. Maintaining CRM data integrity, pipeline accuracy, and sales planning in accordance with company governance.
  6. Following up on customer communications and meetings promptly and effectively.
  7. Acquiring new logos and managing sales performance and business plans.
  8. Building strategic relationships with clients and understanding their business and markets.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Becoming a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape their IT strategies and facilitating access to senior management and experts.
  • Ensuring clients understand available IT services and promoting value-for-money solutions.
  • Aspiring to be the business partner of choice, driving change and transformation for customers.

What we're looking for:

  • Over 5 years of proven success in IT services and solutions sales, consistently exceeding targets.
  • Experience in the Healthcare market with direct customer engagement.
  • Knowledge of Trustmarque's portfolio and go-to-market propositions such as Microsoft Digital Workplace, Cloud & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and more.
  • Recent experience in Client Management, SDR, or BDM roles.
  • Practical understanding of solution sales methodologies.
  • Proven ability to acquire new business and logos, manage pipelines, and plan campaigns effectively.
