Client Development Manager

The Client Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within a defined client portfolio in the Central Government Sector. The role involves selecting target accounts, creating structured sales strategies, engaging with senior-level clients confidently, and supporting business units in understanding and converting new business wins.

About The Team

You will join the Central Government team at Adecco, a diverse and motivated group supporting growth across sectors like IT, Programme and Project Management, Procurement, and Commercial. We promote a progressive career in sales management, supporting a team of 10 consultants in Temporary and Permanent recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead new business development across existing and new client accounts.
  • Network with clients to identify new opportunities.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of potential leads, maintaining proactive contact through various channels.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and market activity to position Adecco favorably.
  • Work with teams to penetrate accounts, manage tenders, and develop client solutions.
  • Demonstrate experience in account management, client relationship development, and winning new business.
  • Plan, strategize, and qualify opportunities to meet company targets.
  • Coordinate with the wider team to deliver client solutions effectively.
  • Present confidently and negotiate successfully to close bids and pitches.
