At Signant Health, we're at the forefront of transforming clinical trials through innovative technology and services. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts in the Nordics region, focusing on our comprehensive portfolio including the Unified Platform, eCOA, EDC, IRT, SmartSupplies, TrialConsent, Patient Engagement, and Neuroscience solutions.

Role Overview:

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for selling our solutions to biotech mid-market clients, managing an assigned territory, and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales growth and market penetration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in solution sales within the clinical research or health sciences sectors, with strong relationship-building skills and a strategic approach to territory management.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and prospect new clients and opportunities within existing accounts.
  2. Develop tailored solutions and operational strategies to meet client needs.
  3. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to sponsors and attend industry events and tradeshows.
  4. Create and execute account and territory strategies to acquire and expand customer base.
  5. Gather and utilize information for proposals and negotiations.
  6. Negotiate contracts and close sales.
  7. Collaborate effectively within a matrix organizational structure to meet targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Successful experience in solution sales, particularly in life sciences and selling e-clinical solutions such as EDC, eCOA, RTSM, eConsent, and Telemedicine.
  2. Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality.
  3. Proven ability to lead proposals and bid processes.
  4. Capability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan.
  5. Knowledge of eClinical solutions and biotech mid-market industry.
  6. Excellent sales funnel and pipeline management skills.
  7. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  1. Familiarity with biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO industries.
  2. Experience working within a global, matrix reporting structure.
  3. Proficiency with CRM systems.
