Addington Ball in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a Client Manager/Senior Accountant on a Partner track to oversee owner-managed client portfolios. You will provide proactive accounting and tax advice, nurture client relationships and guide junior staff toward higher responsibility.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within an accountancy practice, with client-facing responsibilities.
• Ability to provide proactive accounting, business and personal tax advice.
• Comfortable reviewing work and mentoring junior staff.
• Familiarity with common accounting software packages used by owner-managed businesses.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses across sectors.
• Build trusted relationships and provide proactive accounting and tax advice.
• Oversee and support a team of accounts staff and review work.
• Manage year-end accounts, corporation tax, and management accounts and deadlines.
• Advise business owners on tax planning and profit extraction strategies.
• Participate in wider assignments such as R&D tax claims alongside specialists.
