Job summary

Howden Group in Reading is seeking an experienced Client Adviser to join our mid-market practice. You will build trusted relationships with mid-market and corporate clients, working with Client Executives and insurer partners to craft renewal and placement strategies and to deliver first-class servicing throughout the year.

You will manage day-to-day servicing, ensure queries and renewals are handled efficiently, and contribute to growth by collaborating with colleagues across the wider business

• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Reporting to the Client Advisory Team Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering first-class service to our clients, supporting retention and growth objectives, and helping establish the foundations of a high-performing and scalable client servicing model.**What you'll be doing*** Build trusted relationships with a portfolio of mid-market and corporate clients, delivering exceptional service and support throughout the year.* Work closely with Client Executives and insurer partners to develop and deliver effective renewal and placement strategies.* Manage the day-to-day servicing of client programmes, ensuring queries, adjustments and renewals are handled efficiently and professionally.* Contribute to market exercises and negotiations, helping secure the most competitive and appropriate insurance solutions for clients.* Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to deliver outstanding client outcomes and a consistent service experience* Play an active role in the growth and development of our Mid-Market Practice, helping shape a high-performing and scalable servicing proposition.**What we're looking for**We're looking for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.We're particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:* Experience supporting corporate or mid-market clients within the commercial insurance market.* Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance classes, including experience managing complex insurance programmes* The ability to build credibility and develop strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.* Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a growing business environment.* Progress towards or completion of Dip CII qualifications would be advantageous.**Why Howden?**At Howden, people come first.
