Job summary

CSC is seeking a Team Manager of Client Accounting to oversee day-to-day delivery for a portfolio of clients across Guernsey and our India delivery teams. You will apply IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge to review financial statements and support audit delivery, escalating complex technical matters as needed.

This role suits an experienced accounting professional with strong planning, stakeholder management, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Qualifications

Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge with ability to review financial statements.
Experience in a client-facing accounting environment within financial services or professional services.
Experience supporting audits and liaising with external auditors.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day delivery for client accounting engagements across Guernsey and India.
Plan priorities, review workloads, monitor service delivery and address capacity risks.
Review financial statements under UK GAAP/IFRS and escalate complex issues.
Support audit planning and liaison activities with auditors and stakeholders.
Serve as operational contact for client-facing teams to manage expectations and issues.
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Accountants and Associate Accountants.
Ensure adherence to standard processes, controls, and documentation; identify efficiency gains.
Assist onboarding, knowledge sharing, and training to strengthen team capability.
